SHIPPING/IN-STORE PICKUP

ORDER SHIPPING

Our promise to you is to begin processing the shipment of your order as soon as we receive your final order.  In order for us to maintain better accuracy of shipments, a 1-2 day processing time frame may be needed.  We will attempt to get your order out in a timely manner, bearing in mind we cannot ship items on the weekend or on statutory holidays. 

The staff at Majer Hockey will ensure that your item(s) will be shipped intact and as described to the best of our ability.  If there are any issues with your order, you will be contacted immediately and informed of the issue and any options available to rectify that issue.

Where possible, we will attempt to package items in their original boxes/packages; however due to the volume of product that we handle, this may not always be the case.  Rest assured, we will alwys package your items safely and securely so that it shows up at your door in perfect condition.  

ORDER DELIVERY

Majer Hockey only uses reputable shipping companies to ship products.  The use of private couriers, taxi cabs, ride sharing etc. are not options.  Orders are delivered to you Monday through Friday from our shipping partners.

This site also uses a third party shipment gateway provider that utilizes reputable shipping companied to deliver all of our orders.

Please be advised that is in not the responsibility of Majer Hockey to track your package for you.  A confirmation with tracking information will be sent to you once the item is ready for packaging and a package label has been created. 

Items delivered by the carriers we use are the responsibility of those carriers and have nothing to do with Majer Hockey other than if we processed the shipping details incorrectly.  If such is the case, we will work diligently to solve the shipping issue.  The address that you provide on your order is the address that we will ship to.  

Best practice is to have your item(s) shipped to a location that will be occupied by yourself or a trusted and reliable person that is there during normal business hours through the weekdays, usually a workplace.  Alternately, most courier companies will leave a "delivery attempt notice" and either attempt delivery again or leave a location where your item can be picked up. 

IT IS AT YOUR AND THE COURIER DRIVER'S DISCRETION WHETHER THE PACKAGE IS LEFT ON YOUR DOORSTEP/WITH A NEIGHBOR ETC.  THIS IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MAJER HOCKEY AS WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST/STOLEN ITEMS DELIVERED IN THIS MANNER. IF YOU WISH FOR THE ITEM TO BE LEFT AT YOUR FRONT DOOR OR WITH A NEARBY PARTY, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE COMMUNICATING THAT WITH US IN WRITING PRIOR TO SHIPMENT PROCESSING.

OVER SIZED/IRREGULAR SHAPED ITEMS

At times, items such as wheeled bags, sticks (because of their length), shooting pads, goalie pads etc. must be placed in odd or large boxes.  Because of this, there may be added extra shipping charges based off of the gross dimensional weight of the final shipping package.  Also, there may be a further delay in shipping so that we can package your item properly, safely and securely.

POST OFFICE BOXES

We can only ship items to post office boxes via Canada Post. 

RURAL ROUTES

Please ensure that any RR address are as complete as possible.  Where possible, please provide a full, physical address for any Rural Route shipments so that you may receive your order in a timely fashion, without delivery delays or interruptions.

SPECIAL DELIVERY REQUESTS

If you require special delivery options of your item(s), please contact us immediately prior to us shipping your item.  Weekend delivery, overnight delivery, special packing instructions etc. must be communicated to us PRIOR to us processing your order for shipment.

IN-STORE PICKUP

It is not a problem for you to swing in to our store to pick up your item during normal business hours.  In store pickups are kept on our hold shelf with your order information and confirmation. You can pay for your order online and then pick it up at your convenience or you can choose to pay upon pickup.

NOTE: Items placed for in-store payments and pickups will be held for five (5) business days only.  At the end of 5 days, your order will be cancelled and the item will be placed back into inventory. 

DELIVERY ESTIMATES

The estimates that we provide are simply that...estimates.  The shipping partners that we use will provide these estimates and Majer Hockey is NOT responsible for any false, misleading or incorrect shipping estimates on cost or delivery time.  Delays that may occur in transit times once the item(s) leave our premises are of no fault of Majer Hockey.

If you require an item that is time sensitive, please ensure that you are allotting more time for delivery or communicating with us so that we can take care of any request that you may have.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Due to manufacturer restrictions on cross border sales, we can only ship items to Canadian destinations.

DUTY AND BROKERAGE FEES

Orders placed from outside of Canada may be subject to applicable duties, taxes and fees from the shipping company and/or the brokerage firm that processes these shipments for cross-border delivery. THESE ADDITIONAL FEES ARE BEYOND THE CONTROL OF MAJER HOCKEY AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING CHARGES UPON CHECKOUT.  

All item(s) shipped by Majer Hockey will have the exact value placed on that item(s).  we will not designate an item as a "gift'

ORDER CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS

Our promise to you is to process and ship your order to you as quickly as humanly possible.  If you require a change/alteration/cancellation/addition to your order, please contact us immediately.  If your item(s) have not yet shipped, we will work to ensure that the order is processed to your request.

Once you receive confirmation that your order has shipped, WE CANNOT CANCEL THE ORDER AS IT IS WITHIN THE DELIVERY STREAM.

Once your order is out for delivery, it is YOUR responsibility to contact the shipping company to see if they can change the destination address of your shipment.

UNDELIVERED SHIPMENTS

At times and beyond your or our control, items cannot be delivered, picked up by you or redelivered.  If any are the case, we will work with you to help you get the item(s) that you ordered.  As stated, we will provide tracking information on your item where applicable and all information on your shipment is contained by accessing that tracking information.  It is your responsibility to check the tracking information provided.

If the package is returned to us by the shipping company that we have used, we will contact you. There is the possibility that the package is not lost but was likely deemed undelivered, rejected, or not picked up at a prescribed depot. If such is the case, we will always contact you via the information that you provided upon checkout.

Item(s) that have been returned to us as undelivered will be processed as a refund less a restocking fee and all outgoing and incoming shipping costs after all attempts at contacting you have failed. Any additional fees that are charged to Majer Hockey by our shipping partners for any undelivered items are your responsibility and will be taken off of the final refunded price.

ERRORS & DELAYS

Delays in shipments may be caused by errors in the shipment and/or payment information that you provided upon checkout, weather situations, natural disasters, improper handing or delivery methods of our shipping partners or other events out of our control.

We are all human and there times when we can all make mistakes.  If you contact us calmly, we will work with you to help correct any of these unforeseen issues. Yelling, blaming, defamatory or libel comments, harassment, profanity or any other language, demeanor or other actions will not be tolerated by Majer Hockey or its' staff and such action is in direct contravention of our General Terms & Agreements.  

DAMAGED ITEMS

Majer Hockey does not ship any items that are damaged, broken or rendered unusable.  If an item arrives to you in a damaged box or package, it is your responsibility after accepting delivery of that item.  If at all possible, it is recommended that you fully inspect the packaged item prior to signing for it.

CLAIMS FOR LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

Any items delivered by Majer Hockey to addresses prescribed by you and through shipment methods prescribed by you are your responsibility.  Any lost, damaged or broken items may be subject to a claim for goods sold.  It is your responsibility to file a claim of loss to the respective shipping company that you chose.

We want to work WITH you NOT AGAINST you to solve any issues or problems that you may have with your order.
